Jewelry

About

Sharon's jewelry is inspired by nature, nurtured by meditation and created with playfulness. It all started when she created a piece for a charity  auction and a bidding war ensued for the necklace she designed and donated. While she was working as a professor, she didn't have much time to devote to designing jewelry, but now she plays and plays all day.

About Sharon

I love having the freedom to explore and create. During my academic career I did research to try to figure out how people, especially students, can be more self-determined, how they can discover what's really important to them and take steps to make it happen. Since I left academia, my quest for self-determination has continued but has taken on different forms, often in ways that are more experimental and playful. If you're interested in our work on self-determination, please see our sister website:  www.beselfdetermined.com.
